We have a number of projects currently underway in partnership with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Adelaide

For the Hostel Stories project Associate Professor Rachel Ankeny is leading a team, including students Dr Karen Agutter, Daniella Pilla and Justin Madden. They are researching various aspects of the lived experience of migrants in South Australia’s hostels between 1949 and 1985.  Australian Research Council funding has been granted for this project. The Migration Museum is pleased to support Associate Professor Paul Sendziuk in researching Polish people who were deported to Russia during the Second World War. For more information see the research project page.
